Science | Sustainability | Systems

I am an internationally recognised climate and sustainability leader with nearly 20 years of experience building partnerships, shaping strategy, and delivering programmes that drive systemic change across business, academia, government, and civil society. My work has focused on translating complex scientific, political, and commercial challenges into collaborative solutions that accelerate progress on climate action, nature recovery, and the energy transition.

I previously served as the Senior Scientific Officer at Drax Group where I led strategic initiatives that strengthened organisational capability in sustainability, decision making, and carbon removals. I have established influential platforms that bring together policymakers, researchers, NGOs, and industry leaders to support evidence-based decision-making and have played a key role in developing science-led strategies, international partnerships, and thought leadership programmes.

Previously, I served as Director of Science & Communications at the Geological Society of London, where I was a member of the Senior Leadership Team and led organisational strategy, outreach, and stakeholder engagement. Earlier in my career, I spent more than a decade as an editor at Nature Geoscience, where shaped international dialogue on climate and Earth system science and built networks of scientific leaders.

Known for my ability to convene diverse stakeholders and build trusted coalitions, I work at the intersection of science, policy, and implementation to help organisations turn ambition into action and deliver lasting societal impact.
